International Day 2026
From the World to the whole Técnico Lisboa's CommunityMain Building's Atrium
About
International experience, exposure to different cultures, and the ability to work in innovative environments are increasingly important for the Técnico community. It is within this context that another edition of the International Day returns — an event that brings together higher education institutions from various countries and promotes interaction between students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
More than just an event, International Day is a space for discovery, exchange, and connection to a global network. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different international pathways and establish direct contact with Técnico’s partners.
Under the theme of “international opportunities”, this edition has the following main objectives:
- To showcase the various opportunities to study abroad, including mobility programmes, double degrees, joint master’s and doctoral programmes, internships, among others;
- To facilitate direct contact between students, faculty, researchers, and Técnico’s international partners;
- To strengthen the international dimension of Técnico;
- To create a dynamic environment of exchange and collaboration between the academic community and international partners, encouraging reflection on the role of each individual in internationalisation;
- To promote an open and engaging space, with activities, interactive moments, competitions, and prizes that bring the Técnico community closer to international institutions.
